In this video we are showing how you install a floating shelf using our multi wall floating shelf brackets. These brackets are suitable for use on solid walls, dot and dab walls and plasterboard walls. The thread system is interchangeable which allows you to swap out the thread should you find your wall type to be different to what you thought upon installation.

It's brick with plaster on top, no studs, completely solid.

Coat hooks?! As nice as they look, no coat loops are getting over those. Form over function.
Check for cables before you mark the wall! How do you know how far off the wall the plasterboard is before you start? The plasterboard could be on timber batons. Better not to use plasterboard at all an use brick (not breeze block) and plaster for a wall. It will take weight better.
Hi, this is a solid wall not plasterboard - it is brick with plaster over the top.
@@BespoakinteriorsUk Title says Dot n Dab so that is plasterboard even if brick behind and there will be a gap behind some parts of the plasterboard, just look at 00:54. The weight of the shelf and its contents has the gap behind the plasterboard and the thickness of the plaster board to act as a lever on the screw. Plasterboard is not good at taking weight. Personally I don't like plasterboard on walls, brick with a plaster covering is my preference.
@@radishpea6615 Sorry I thought you were referring to the wall where we are specifically fitting the shelf and coat hooks shown. We do also show the brackets on dot and dab and plasterboard set ups as indicated. We have a maximum recommendation on what depth shelves should be fitted using our plasterboard brackets (150mm) and a minimum quantity that should be used per metre (4 brackets) - precisely because of the nature of the plasterboard. As you said, a brick and plaster wall, like the main wall shown in our video, is preferable, but so many houses in the UK now have plasterboard and dot and dab walls. So these brackets provide a potential solution for people who want/need to fit a shelf to these kind of walls.

All of the fixing variations use Fischer wall plugs, the solid wall fixing is supplied with a UX10, the dot and dab fixing is supplied with a SXR 10 and the plasterboard fixing is supplied with a DuoTec 12.

I can tell them some really good briquettes but it seems to me it's not very cost effective as they are some small briquettes made in the duration it takes to just make one.

its sawdust i'm pretty sure it'd work fine, unless your cutting green wood. then the water would evaporate and they would crumble. It would also probably rust the machine. so i would avoid that. 🤷♂
